Projects that are being deployed in Amazon Rio reserve

REDD+ Carbon project

EBCF's AMAZON RIO REDD+ IFM Carbon Project (ID 1147 - VERRA) started in 2013 and was validated by Rainforest Alliance / Imaflora in accordance with the international certification standards of the VCS/CCB standard (VERRA). The first verification was carried out in 2017 and covered the first 4 years of the project with the issuance of 240,000 credits. The field audit for the second verification of the Project is scheduled for May 2023 and will cover the last 6 years of the Project, with the issuance of approximately 450,000 credits. The Project is applied for the VCS/CCB Gold seal. (2013 -2048)

Impact

Reduction of 2.2 million ton/CO2 over 36 years. Assistance to 450 families and inventory of +400 species of fauna and flora.

Impact Potential

500 million ton/CO2. Serving 100,000 families through AmaGroup's investment and expansion program.
